Nanning·Qingxiu Mountain Private Club
The Nanning Qingxiu Mountain private club, designed by EKDESIGN, is nestled amidst verdant greenery and gardens, engaging in a profound dialogue about space, art, and living experience.
With "deconstruction and recomposition" as its brushstroke, the design team breaks conventional patterns to reshape an elevated, restrained, free-flowing contemporary arena. Art is not merely decoration within the space—it is a living entity that grows within it. Installation pieces extend from the walls, freely unfolding amidst light and shadow, blurring the boundaries between art and architecture and imbuing the static space with dynamic poetry.
The spatial layout abandons traditional enclosure and segmentation, guiding exploration through rotating circulation paths. As one moves through the space, perspectives shift and scenes renew—each turn bringing an encounter with a different framed view.
Between open areas, the ingenious principle of "separated yet connected" achieves visual permeability and functional independence, allowing scenarios of socializing, resting, and tasting to interweave while retaining a sense of private breathability.
Light and material dance together, balancing brightness and shadow, simultaneously outlining the strength of modern structure and evoking an immersive emotional experience. This achieves a perfect equilibrium between ceremonial ambiance and comfort within the space.
